So we have had a cold spell at home lately. Mother nature can't seem to commit to Spring coming soon, So while she has been having issues, we are trying to stay inside and keep warm- making my house turn into baking central.
I made a recipe that a friend had given me the other day. It's so simple, and so good all at once! What's not to love?!
All you need:
A box of red velvet cake mix (I know, I know. totally cheating on the cake mix thing a little), a stick of butter, one package of softened cream cheese, one egg, and a little bit of vanilla extract.
Melt the butter, and mix everything together with a mixer. Put them in the oven at 350 degrees, and bake for 10-12 minutes.
So simple, right? :)
It goes so perfect with a coffee and a snuggly little puppy.
